During these challenging times, we know that choosing to get away and where to go is an important decision and we thank you for booking your stay with us, we truly cannot wait to welcome you to our Inn.

Throughout the time we have been mandated to be closed by the government we have been busy preparing for your return which will be outlined in greater details below.  Please also know that as the policies and procedures are rolled out by our regional health unit our family and team of Hessenland Inn continue to strive above and beyond the standards.  As the pandemic situation is continuously changing, we are closely monitoring regulations and will adjust our existing operations to always ensure our Team and guests are safe.

 

POLICIES AND PROCEDURES IN PLACE:

**AS PER THE HURON PERTH PUBLIC HEALTH UNIT – please be advised as of July 17th, 2020 face coverings are required in all commercial establishments**
– We require all guests and staff to wear a face covering (covering mouth and nose) in lobby areas, hotel hallways and hallways leading to pools, sitting areas and any other indoor public space.   
-Once outside, guests do not need to have face coverings as long as physical distancing of 6 feet apart from people outside of your social circle.

-Deep cleaning and sanitization of all guest rooms, public areas, dining room and bathrooms.

-Installation of hand sanitization stations in all entries to the building and within high traffic locations.

-Our hotel and service Team will be wearing masks and are trained in how to maintain proper safety precautions when encountering guests.

-We are strongly encouraging our guests to wear masks inside our Inn and to stay at home if you feel ill and/or experiencing any COVID19 symptoms. (Fever, coughing…please list)

-Cancellation policies have relaxed from 48 hours to 24 hours.

-Hard keys to your room are all sanitized and enveloped for your use.

-We have installed a clear glass enclosure at our front desk.

-We have implemented a contactless check-in. (See front desk operations.)

-We have implemented a contactless check-in – guests will receive an email acknowledging our policies, confirming rates and payment method of their room.  Furthermore, we are asking for a more accurate time of arrival in order to avoid any unnecessary queue at the front desk.  The purpose of the contactless check-in is to make your arrival efficient and safe- all you will need to do is pick up your key after showing your identification.

 

During your stay

-During your stay we ask that you be mindful of your distance with other guests staying with us.  Keeping 6 feet apart from each other and/or wearing a mask while inside the buildings.

-Housekeeping during your stay will not occur for your safety and the safety of our Team (i.e. no staff will be going inside your room during your stay).  We do however ask that you let us know if you would like to have fresh towels, amenities (toilet paper, soap, lotions, shampoo etc.).  Please let us know if you would like to have any garbage removed, leave the bag outside of your room and we will promptly collect it.

-You will note that there have been amenities removed from your room (i.e. alarm clock and coffee maker and cups);  These amenities are available upon request and each item has been carefully cleaned, detailed, sanitized and wrapped for your use.

-We are available 24 hours a day by phone for Inn guests.

– Breakfast will be available (7:30 am to 10:00 am) as a take out option from our Breakfast Bar or by sitting out on our patio and after July 17th in our dining space, the Garden Room. Please see our website for more information or pick up a disposal menu from the front desk.

– We have developed a more casual menu which includes some of Hessenland’s favourites as well as easy dining options.

– Dinner is also available on the patio and a take out option as well as inside our dining space called The Garden Room.  Dining hours are:  (Wed – Sat 12pm – 730pm) & (Sundays 12pm – 630pm)

  • Should you be departing from the Inn prior to 730 am, please inform the front desk and settle your bill and/or we can email your receipt the evening prior to your departure. We ask that you leave your keys in your room.
  • Check out receipts will be slipped under your door the night prior to your departure.
  • We ask that you either email us at hessen@hessenland.com to let us know you have checked out or call us at 5192367707.
