16th Annual Winemakers Dinner & Parkinson's Fundraiser
Greetings from the beautiful west coast of Ontario! Again we are busy making preparations for Rare Fare 2009 and are looking forward to presenting another fabulous event. This year marks the 16th Anniversary of our Winemaker's Dinner, Rare Fare 2009 and our 25th year of business.
Rare Fare 2009 will once again highlight culinary inspirations from "Ontario's West Coast". Enjoy the beauty and bounty of autumn with delectable food, fine wine, live entertainment and friends in our serene country Setting.
"Rare Fare 2009" will take place Saturday October 31st ~Halloween~. The event will begin at 4 pm with Wine, Beer and Hors d'oeuvres Selections being served in and around the Inn accompanied by live entertainment. There will also be a Silent Auction held throughout the afternoon and evening with all proceeds going to the Parkinson Society Canada, dinner follows and will be served in the Garden Room at 6 pm. As our 25th Anniversary celebrations continue; including Holloween of course, we are welcoming our guests to have a little fun and dress up in fashions of 1984; dig out the leather ties, shoulder pads and hair spray!!
The featured winery this year is Flat Rock Cellars, located in the heart of Niagara's Wine Country, on the Twenty Mile Bench. The winery was founded by Ed Madronich in 1999. We are also delighted to present Premier Brands Ltd. specializing in importing and distributing premium European beers. Throughout the cocktail reception you will have the opportunity to sample several first class European beers; Prost!!
