Mongolian Grill at Hessenland Country Inn

Every Thursday, beginning June 28, 2007

The legend of the Mongolian grill dates back to the time of the great Ghengis Khan and his warriors. When setting up camp for the night they would build roaring fires and create extravagant feasts. Their swords were used to slice the meat into thin strips, mixed with vegetables and exotic spices and then cooked on the warriors upturned shields that were placed over the hot embers of the fire.

Enjoy this great dining experience during the summer at Hessenland Country Inn every Thursday night beginning June 29, 2006 with live entertainment provided by Pedro Quintana. Pedro is a native of Cuba and settled down in Grand Bend several years ago. Pedro has established himself as one of the areas most respected pianists, not only performing but also teaching.

Begin the evening with an aperitif on our garden terrace, followed by a seasonal soup or fresh garden greens, then choose from a vast array of ingredients including assorted meats, seafood, vegetables and special spices to create distinctive and bold flavours. These hand picked ingredients will then be prepared on our flat top grill right in front of your eyes by one of our chefs. To complete this perfect meal, choose from our daily dessert selection.

The cost is $26.95 per person and includes 1 glass of house wine, The Mongolian Grill and Entertainment.
